2 Barbell Bench Press Tips
The bench press mainly exercises the chest muscles.
1. Increase the distance between your hands holding the barbell. The barbell will drop deeper, increase the area of the chest that bears force, and fully stimulate the chest muscle fibers.
2. Different placement points of the barbell will exercise different parts of the chest muscles. When the barbell is lowered to the lower edge of the chest, it focuses on the exercise of the lower chest. When it is lowered to the clavicle, it focuses on the stimulation of the upper chest. When it is placed in the middle, it focuses on the exercise of the entire chest muscles.
